Discovered that is crashes a lot, on ubuntu. Pretty stable (haven’t noticed it crashed yet) on windows.
Verdict thus far: good on windows. Horrible on ubuntu.

Are you sure it’s msn-pecan the one crashing? -
I switch back to normal msn, and disable the msn-pecan, it doesn’t crash. The only difference is when I have the native protocol on, or when I use msn-pecan instead…
Let me look into again on Monday… and see if I can come up with a debug msg, or something…
