Putfile bans Singapore after hanging
putfile release
Well, this is an interesting little boycott. I see people arguing back and forth on the discussion forums on both digg.com and putfile.com
If you break a law on a foreign countries soil, you are accountable to that country.
Be as it may, the punishment is there to deter perpetrators. Those that break laws are subject to those punishments.
Worse off would be the barbaric mutilation of a person. I.e. “if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Some cultures have taken that to the literal meaning, which scares me even more. How will a member in society be able to function in a 3rd world, if they are viewed as disabled or evil. They are pariahs, and ostracized from society.
Even with the many US States that have the death penalty, the deterrent isn’t there. What differences are there between the two countries, that would caused a lower homicide rate in Canada than in the USA? I’m talking homicides per capita.
Oh well… thoughts and comments welcomed.
