New Stuff.co.nz: A dog of a year for Chinese workers
Strange… I can’t believe how backwards the world is. I find it very amusing… but not in the funny way… the that’s so stupid, that it can’t be true so it’s amusing. Then reality hits, and I’m saddened by the stupidity of the human race.
Can’t we all just get a long?

What would posses someone to be this intelligent; trying to swallow a bloody phone. Either this person has a very suppressed gag reflex… I don’t think I need to elaborate on this. -

Some Joke… computer related
CHILD: Dad, where did I come from?
DAD: Okay, we had to have this conversation some day!.. Listen… Dad and mom met in a chat room on the net. I set up a meeting with your mom and we landed in the bathroom at the CyberCaf?
Then, mom did some downloads from dads memory stick
and when dad was ready to upload, we discovered that there was no firewall.
Seeing that it was a bit too late to cancel, I just carried on doing the upload.
Nine months later, the damn virus appeared!
CHILD: Huh? -
Wireless security…
This article from Daily Wireless – Hacking Starbucks, is pretty interesting.
I don’t think a proof of concept is needed, as I think it is blatantly obvious. However, it does make you think for a minute or two about the possible injection of a deauth, and reassign the target via dhcp.
Another thing that I’ve been reading up on, wireless security, with WEP. I can’t understand why people even bother with wireless if they don’t secure it. Especially in areas with high traffic, like Starbucks. There’s a WEP encrypted system which is just asking for trouble.
Use a randomly generated password for WPA, here’s a good starting point random generator at Steve Gibson’s website www.grc.org
Another tidbit of fun, just as a honeypot, fake AP. -
