WRAL.com – News – Girlfriend Gets Phone Stuck In Throat During Argument
What would posses someone to be this intelligent; trying to swallow a bloody phone. Either this person has a very suppressed gag reflex… I don’t think I need to elaborate on this. -

Some Joke… computer related
CHILD: Dad, where did I come from?
DAD: Okay, we had to have this conversation some day!.. Listen… Dad and mom met in a chat room on the net. I set up a meeting with your mom and we landed in the bathroom at the CyberCaf?
Then, mom did some downloads from dads memory stick
and when dad was ready to upload, we discovered that there was no firewall.
Seeing that it was a bit too late to cancel, I just carried on doing the upload.
Nine months later, the damn virus appeared!
CHILD: Huh? -
Wireless security…
This article from Daily Wireless – Hacking Starbucks, is pretty interesting.
I don’t think a proof of concept is needed, as I think it is blatantly obvious. However, it does make you think for a minute or two about the possible injection of a deauth, and reassign the target via dhcp.
Another thing that I’ve been reading up on, wireless security, with WEP. I can’t understand why people even bother with wireless if they don’t secure it. Especially in areas with high traffic, like Starbucks. There’s a WEP encrypted system which is just asking for trouble.
Use a randomly generated password for WPA, here’s a good starting point random generator at Steve Gibson’s website www.grc.org
Another tidbit of fun, just as a honeypot, fake AP. -

Putfile bans Singapore after hanging
Putfile bans Singapore after hanging
putfile release
Well, this is an interesting little boycott. I see people arguing back and forth on the discussion forums on both digg.com and putfile.com
If you break a law on a foreign countries soil, you are accountable to that country.
Be as it may, the punishment is there to deter perpetrators. Those that break laws are subject to those punishments.
Worse off would be the barbaric mutilation of a person. I.e. “if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Some cultures have taken that to the literal meaning, which scares me even more. How will a member in society be able to function in a 3rd world, if they are viewed as disabled or evil. They are pariahs, and ostracized from society.
Even with the many US States that have the death penalty, the deterrent isn’t there. What differences are there between the two countries, that would caused a lower homicide rate in Canada than in the USA? I’m talking homicides per capita.
Oh well… thoughts and comments welcomed. -
Exploits of an English Teach in Japan
I’ve been reading this Japanese English Teachers (JET) experiences. I suggest that you don’t read it, or you’ll just fall over laughing, or as someone I know neglected some important responsibilities, and will be going to hell for said neglect.
There will always be good kids, and bad kids everywhere. But it’s just good to see that it’s not all localized around me.

Dinner Party conversations
It’s funny, I never thought my the program I’m taking at Seneca would be interesting to other people. Someone gave me another perspective that I could take on forensic accounting.
The perspectic is how to legally adjust the books, to maximize benefit to the company. To work within ethical and legal criterias. Some companies would pay big bucks in doing so. But it also walks a fine line between the what’s legal and illegal.
